Abraham: Do I Have to Keep Thinking About What I Want?

Abraham: Do I Have to Keep Thinking About What I Want?

Abraham answers the question about whether we need to stay focused on our desire in order to manifest it, or whether it's okay to forget about it.

You don't have to launch an intention and then hold doggedly to that thought.  You don't have to keep tension on it in every moment.

Once you have launched your intention, Universe is yielding it to you, and unless you're offering an opposing vibration, it will come into your experience.  You can launch an idea, never think about it again, and Universe will yield it to you.

But if you're offering thoughts in opposition to it, it holds things up.  The way you close the gap is by releasing contradictory thought.

If it's a subject you don't think about much, you could launch it, leave the idea alone, and it would come into your experience.

But when it's a subject like dollars, it's not likely you're not going to have thoughts on that subject.  If you can't leave the subject alone, you'll want to shift your vibration about it.  Talk about the subject with a deliberate intent of bringing yourself to a better feeling place about it.

Act a little bit less, and envision a little bit more.
