GVU's Birth Chart by Kim Falconer
Kim Falconer generously offers an GVU astrology reading as a birthday gift to the community. Enjoy!
Good Vibe University isn't just a location in cyberspace, a title or name. It is an entity unto itself and when we become part of GVU, when we join and participate, we form a relationship is to this ‘personality'. Who we are is ‘touched' by GVU, and it's time to take a closer look at exactly what Good Vibe University is al la the astrology of this being!
The Basics: GVU is an Aquarius sun with Venus, Chiron and Neptune in the sign of the water-bearer as well. It isn't surprising to find this strong emphasis in the sign that rules both technology (computers, phones and the internet) and groups and associations.
Aquarius is about ‘getting together with like-minded others for the benefit of all.' I don't know if Jeannette planed this child to be born right at this moment, but she couldn't have picked a more suitable time. It gets better! The chart ruler of GVU is Neptune, the planet known for its compassion and connection. It's the ultimate symbol for ‘super position— a state of infinite possibilities. The Pisces rising sign is co-ruled by Jupiter, the symbol
of expansion, pushing boundaries, lifting limits, true beliefs and abundance (ie wealth, fulfilment, happiness.) Think Jove! If there's a cosmic Santa Clause, I'm certain his chart would look like GVU's!
The Moon, symbol for the feeling world of GVU, is in the warm blooded sign of Leo, the courageous lion who rules the heart. Leo is about learning how to feel special, to give self-love and to appreciate the connection that can be made with others when we love and respect ourselves first. It's an astro-saying that people with the moon in Leo have the self-love thing down pat. They aren't insecure and it shows in their charisma, generosity and fearlessness! Of all the signs, a Leo moon is most likely to offer charitably with no strings attached. As I read this chart I'm starting to think Jeannette postponed the opening just so GVU would have this wonderful Leo Moon! Generosity is a watchword here! Notice also, it's a full moon—all about letting go of the old feelings and beliefs so the new can grow and develop. Perfect!
Aquarius Sun and Leo Moon are fabulous but there is another touch of gold in this chart that you don't see every day. GVU has 29 degrees of Pisces rising. What does that mean? Opinions differ but all astrologers agree, it is unique, edgy, the brink—the very precipice—of evolution and change. It is the degree that describes the moment of entering the vortex, of changing states, of altering the vibration in such a way we are no longer where we were before—a lasting change. When I saw the rising sign for GVU, I nearly fell out of my chair.
I shot an email off to Jeannette that may or may not have even been in English, I was so excited. It's like GVU has a sign over its doors saying, ‘Transformation awaits, all yea who enter here.'
There are so many other aspects to this chart that feel like a perfect match to GVU, it's incredible: Mercury (thoughts) in Capricorn (deliberateness) conjunct the North Node (highest path). Saturn (commitment) in the seventh house (relationship to others), Uranus (genius and breakthrough ideas) conjunct the Ascendant (GVU's way of ‘expressing').
Sun and Venus (distinction, union, artistic beauty) in the eleventh house of groups and friendship. Pluto (lasting transformation) conjunct the MC (public identity and purpose), as well as the YOD with Jupiter (abundance) and Mars (energy). I mean, it spells ‘transforming energy leads to abundance!' My personal favourite aspect is the Vertex (pivotal, high octane moments) exact on the descendant (relationships to others). Talk about epiphanies!
The solar return (birthday chart) for 2011 reads every bit as wonderful! The once every fourteen year Jupiter (abundance) conjunction Uranus (breakthroughs) is on the top of the chart. That means participating with GVU puts us all in the right place and the right frame of mind to open up to unlimited wealth and wellbeing. I really don't know how else to put it! Unlimited is the operant word! Also Uranus is about to transit GVU's rising sign—a once every 84 year event that leads to major growth and change. The motto this year could be, ‘just sign up and the change will begin!' There is magic going at GVU and it's only going to get bigger and better, and more powerful! Happy birthday you fabulous entity, and thank you Jeannette for being the energy, sustainment and mastermind behind the creation!

This is such a fabulous reading, Kim - rich and dense with meaning, and (natch!) a brilliant reflection of what GVU is all about.
Yes, we definitely all have our own "version" of GVU, but there is also the "meta-GVU" - the entity which provides some over-arching commonalities which I think we all share when we contemplate GVU. I don't think anyone would disagree that you've captured this meta-GVU perfectly. Awesome!
