GVU's Numerology by Janette Dalgliesh
Our very own Janette Dalgliesh was kind enough to offer her services in doing a numerology assessment for Good Vibe University.
It's just as delightful as it is inspiring - thank you, Janette!
Overall Theme
This chart is chock-a-block full of the numbers that support teaching, healing, making a difference on the planet, having loads of fun and being in the limelight.
Name at birth and date of birth
For a person, the birth date and name chosen at birth provide foundation energy within their numbers, energies that don't change throughout life. It's the same for a business—the formation date and full business name provides an unchangeable foundation energy.
This isn't the full story – that's in the following sections – but it underpins everything else.
The energy of the teacher/healer is so strong in this chart it blows me away! The number seven appears all over the place. In its most fundamental form, seven is the number of being of service to others by blending creativity and practicality; but it can have different emphasis depending on where it appears in the chart. For Good Vibe University, it is in the soul, destiny and natural talent areas. The synergy of this is nothing short of astronomically powerful!
The business has a tendency to be idealistic, which might be seen as a disadvantage for an organisation such as a bank (though I might argue with that belief!). However, for this business idealism is an enormous asset as it will help ward off any old-fashioned notions about how to do business. It means this business walks the talk, from its soul to its bones. Good Vibe University wants to do serve in a way which incorporates lots of variety, freedom, change, interaction with all kinds of different people; and it also wants to do it in a way that is balanced and harmonic.
There is a very strong urge to be of service to humanity, and the fact that this is a global organisation is not surprising. We're not talking about helping out your neighbours or your local community here; we're talking about being of service to humanity, to the planet. BIG difference!
This business has no choice but to use its creativity and pragmatism to be of service to others. It's not just a tendency or a half-hearted desire - it's essential. Happily, that is supported by the business having a natural talent which 100% matches! The business has natural abilities in practical areas such as IT, and equally strong abilities in creative areas such as art and writing - it can use these in a perfect blend to fulfil its natural talent for teaching and healing. In addition, there is an undeniable limelight energy which means that these talents will be out there in the world rather than exercised in the quiet of a backyard studio. This is a perfect support for an online business such as this!
Name known as
For a person, this is the “everyday name" that they are using right now - given and family names. In the case of Good Vibe University, I've looked at two everyday names - “GVU" and “Good Vibe U", as those seem the most common.
This is where it gets really fun! All of those foundation energies I mentioned above can tend to feel a bit serious - all that responsibility for supporting the planet, ouch! But the everyday names add some fabulous extras, and these are the kinds of energies that are part of being out there in the world.
There is LOTS (and lots and lots and LOTS!) of communication - imagine everyone on the planet chattering happily at one enormous cocktail party, and you get the idea. This is not just communication going from the business out into the world, it also incorporates the energy of people, movement, variety - in other words, dynamic exchange of information going in all directions.
At the same time, the business is clearly (and very comfortably) in the leadership position. This isn't a flat, truly socialist kind of community - it's a community attracted to a business which naturally has the energy of leadership, limelight and authority. The image that comes to mind is that of the Shep herd. Not the modern day shepherd, who drives his flock to where he wants to go; but the zero BC, new Testament kind of Shepherd, who leads his flock from the front – traversing new paths and exploring new terrain from which the flock then benefits.
There is some strong limelight energy throughout the chart, but particularly in the everyday names which is where one would like it to be. As these names are used out there in the world, by you and by other people, that limelight energy attracts and attracts and attracts. Fantastic!
Life cycles
For a person, this kind of reading would normally include a look at the overarching energies of support and challenge which apply during different periods of their life. The first life cycle for this business runs from “birth" to age 29 years, and I figure that by then I'll be far more expert at this kind of reading so you can come back to me for the rest then LOL!
The supporting energy during the first cycle is about practicality and application. This is a fabulously grounding balance to the otherwise somewhat “woowoo” energies in the rest of the chart - and particularly so during this first period for the business. I love woowoo as much as the next gal, but practicality is extremely useful in the physical world. Having this supporting energy means the practical stuff is less effort than it might otherwise be.
The so-called challenge energy (which you can of course choose to ignore!) Is the possibility of stretching the business too thin because of the tendency not to want to say no. It's not something to worry about, just something to be aware of if you want to. Say no when something is offered to the business that doesn't sit right.
Personal year
As we go through each birthday, we move into a new personal year.
The fabulous news is that on 30 January 2011, the business moves into the number eight until its next birthday. Eight is the number of prosperity. Freakin' huge woohoo!!
Incorporated into this coming year will be lots of things to do with physical abundance - making money, selling product, etc. This is an amazing number to have in your second year of business, when in effect you've done the hard work of establishing the business. If your first year is like the seed breaking through its hard outer layer, your second year is when the seed puts down its first roots, deep into the ground. Having an eight energy around this period is a wonderful match and will support the future strength of the business.
Anything missing?
If this were a so-called “normal” business I might be a little anxious that the eight doesn't appear anywhere in the names or date of birth reading. BUT remember we're only talking about GVU, not about Jeannette. I think I remember you saying you set GVU up primarily with the intention of serving, and not so much as a cash cow. That's clearly come out in the numerology aspects of the business.
One thing you could do is have a look at any other numbers associated with the business. For example, any numbers associated with the website, any bank account numbers specifically linked to GVU, the PO box number or registered street address of the business, etc. To find the significant number, add all the digits together and keep repeating the process until you have a single digit.
Look for an eight or a six. And if you get a forty-four, let me know – that's a whole new level of business!
Given that the business is going into an eight year, AND that it seems to fit its intention perfectly as is, I certainly wouldn't be suggesting changing anything in the name(s) to address this apparent missing number. There are lots of ways to incorporate this energy if you want to, and as I said – the fact that GVU has no eights doesn't have anything to do with Jeannette's ability to attract moolah!
In Conclusion
As I said at the start, this reading is so close to perfect it's hard to see how you could make it better. Sweet!

Of Course!~
Makes a whole lot of sense, doesn't it?

Fantastic
