Glee Gets the Point (& It's Not Winning)

Glee Gets the Point (& It's Not Winning)

This newsletter is devoted to helping you get what you want, once and for all.  We talk often about what it takes to create vibrational alignment in order to make your dreams come true.

And with that type of focus, it's sometimes easy to forget the whole point.

One of the most important LOA lessons aired on tonight's season finale of Glee.

(Spoiler alert: read this after you watch the finale, if you're a fan and haven't seen it yet.)

While the members of Glee Club are discouraged trying to figure out how to win Regionals, their director Will Schuester tells them they're going to perform a medley of Journey songs, because "who cares what happens when we get there when the getting there has been so much fun."

When the members express concern about being able to win by performing Journey, Will adds that "If this is all about winning, we've already lost."

Wise words.

Abraham has weighed in on this topic, too:

"We want you to be able to mess something up altogether or blow an exam or crash your car or do any other number of things to which much of the world would say, 'Well, that was certainly an inappropriate thing for you to do,' and we want you to be able to stand proudly and say, 'Hey, I did that and it doesn't have any relationship to who I am.'

"In other words, 'Who I am is pure positive energy out here on the leading edge.' Who I am is an eternal seeker of alignment with who I am. I'm not going to let any outside standards or judgments confuse me about who I am,' and that when we reach the place where it just doesn't matter so much what anybody else thinks, and matters more how we feel - in that place we attract those people that agree." (San Francisco, CA, 3/16/02)

At a 2006 Washington DC workshop, Abraham suggested devoting a week to "laughing your worry away" and laughing away the feeling of not having enough.  Their promise was that by making a decision to laugh away worry and the feeling of "not enoughness" we would be "amazed at how within a week, things that looked far and distant and even impossible will be realities in your experience."

"That's how ready to pop your vibrational escrow is. That's how ready it is."

But again, we don't have fun for the purpose of winning the trophy or getting the husband or having a big bank account.

We have fun because that's the whole point anyway.

Do you have something in your life that could use more fun in it?  Follow Glee Club's example and lighten up, laugh, and have a good time with it.

You'll be glad you did.
