How to Upgrade Your Problems

How to Upgrade Your Problems

Jeannette Maw

Yesterday I was talking with a girlfriend about our latest problems ...

… I couldn't decide which attorney to hire for a legal situation that required attention, and she was having technical problems with one of her companies. I also complained about how confusing my ex was, because he was being more supportive than ever.

And then there was the digital birthday gift I'd received that wasn't downloading properly.

At the end of our conversation it hit me that she and I have the best problems! My ex is being too nice to me?! She has to hire tech support for her money-making side business? I have too many fabulous attorneys to pick from to solve my legal dilemma?

Yeah, these are good problems. When these are the challenges we're dealing with, we are winners.

That idea of celebrating our problems made me wonder what would happen vibrationally if we appreciated our biggest dilemmas? Would we get bigger problems that were even more challenging? Or would they disappear in the face of those good vibes?

How do you think Universe would respond if we saw our challenges in a positive light?

Here's what I suspect: it would make our next issues even easier to love. Sort of like getting a “problem upgrade.”

I mean, if our problems just keep getting better and better, pretty soon we're living an even better life!

Listen to some of the real life complaints I've heard from others recently:

• Have to put the new sports car in storage because winter is coming.
• Busy all week long because we have too much work.
• There are too many men; not enough time.
• We have to pay a boat load of taxes this year because we made too much money.
• Have to buy a new wardrobe because of all the weight I lost.

Seriously, when I heard these complaints it was easy to see how blessed they were. Plenty of work coming in, an abundance of relationships, “too much” money being made … were they kidding?!

What if it's the same with our ‘problems,' too?

I'm pretty sure that whatever your troubles are, someone out there would love to have it.

A colleague suggested that the better way to go is to manifest problems away completely. That's what powerful creation would look like, she believed.

But the way I see it (got this from Abe), contrast is part of the gig. The problems don't stop until we're dead. (And yes, I get that that may be a huge limiting belief.)

I personally think contrast isn't to be wished away, and it's not to be seen as a manifesting failure. It's simply part of how our life gets even better - when we learn to surf those issues like a pro.  (That's a great video link to Teal Scott's reminder that even the Buddha had bad days.)

So here's to recognizing just how fabulous our “problems” are, to allowing fab solutions in, and letting life get even better than it already is.  :)
