How to Be Alone
Thank you, Kate, for sharing this beautiful video!
It's a lovely primer on how to embrace solitude, which we know is easy to resist when we're wanting to be in relationship. But by embracing where we are now, that energy of "allowing" actually makes way for something new. Even if it's just a much more enjoyable experience of our present reality.
From the poem: "Lonely is a freedom that breathes easy and weightless, and lonely is healing if you make it." and
"If you're happy in your head then solitude is blessed and alone is okay."
Enjoy:

I think my favorite part: "In fact, some people at full tables will wish they were where you were."
sigh.
This is SO good!

Know what I love most about going places on my own (including dinner)??
I can talk to anyone, anytime and not worry about whether we have to be somewhere else at a certain time! I can give that new person or experience my FULL attention.
Thank you Kate!

I've always enjoyed my own company, but I guess it's time to take to a different level... Eating by myself at a restaurant... going dancing by myself... taking myself to the movies... wow!!
Beautiful... thanks for sharing, Kate! :)
