How to Use Experts (Noreena Hertz)

Noreena Hertz speaking at TED explores the consequences of the decisions we make, and our strategies for making them.

Her argument is to rely less on the experts and trust ourselves more.  She says we believe experts are able to come to better conclusions than we are, and that we rely on their authority which creates an addiction to their supposed words of wisdom.

Rather than surrender our power to the experts, Noreena advocates embracing our power and authority to know what's best for ourselves.

The Best Buy practice is surprising and innovative. Something like that makes me want to buy from them.
And as far as questioning the authorities - - I agree!! It's another way to give our power away, and as we at GVU know, our spirits and bodies know best!!
