In Joy We Trust?

In Joy We Trust?

Lots of you have heard my core message (as taught by Abraham) that feeling good is what leads to everything we desire.

It's why goofing off over an hour and half lunch leads to record fast & easy sales (remember that story from Pray Rain Journaling?) and why going on a dog walk or to a matinee generates client inquiries.

And yet, even for those who understand the connection (on an intellectual basis) between feeling good and dreams coming true, practicing it can be tricky.

That's because when we really want something, it's old habit to think we gotta do something to make it happen.  Something that makes sense, like making phone calls or placing ads or some other action-oriented approach.

And make no mistake, we can make things happen through hard core action if we persevere long enough.

But that's not leveraging the magic that we were born with.

The miracle-making technology that lies within allows us to best create what we want by using our energy (our vibrational attunement) rather than our hands.  We get what we want by being willing to feel it before it's real.  That's how it becomes "real" - by creating vibrational alignment to it.

So what to do if you have a hard time trusting that everything's gonna work out by just relaxing and enjoying?

For starters, no one's making you do anything.  You get to continue whatever habits you choose.  But if you're interested in going through life with more ease and more success, you might play with these tips:

1.  Baby step your way to it: When you don't trust it completely, instead of making yourself let go of everything you've believed about how the world works, just play with this concept of "feeling good" here and there.  Find ways to inject more joy in your daily life; gravitate toward the actions that hold stronger appeal to you.  You don't have to go cold turkey by giving up every action item on your to-do list right now.

2.  Experiment.  Pay attention to when things go your way really well.  What was different about this time than when they didn't turn out as hoped?  Just looking at the real life evidence will show you that very often things work best when you stop "working" them.

3.  Remember the whole point.  The only reason we want anything is because we think having it will make us feel good or be happier.  We also know that unhappy journeys don't have happy endings.  (It's vibrationally impossible.)  So if the whole reason I'm "working" toward this thing I want is so I can enjoy more, then why not enjoy the journey too, huh?  Engaging in something we don't enjoy only slows up the whole process of getting what we want, anyway.

The parting thought I'd like to leave you with is this: unless "massive action" feels good to you, it is not the best way to create what you want.  Living an enjoyable life is SO much easier than we've previously been led to believe!

But don't take my word for it ... go have some out-of-the-ordinary fun and see what unfolds for you next.  Even just that little bit of relief can be enough to give the Universe the opening it's been waiting for to deliver your goods!
