Infecting Your Dream with Success (Contagious Lists)
We know how helpful it is to clearly identify and claim new desires, goals or dreams.
We also know how aligning it is to spotlight our wins and successes. (As in success logs & evidence journals.)
But have you experienced how potent it is to combine these two practices?
That's what I discovered last month when I wrote a new desire on the white board. (It was ProfitQuest homework to identify a new business goal.)
I picked “triple ebook revenue” and wrote that down on the refrigerator board.
Every time I walked by and glanced at those three words, I felt a should-like sense of “Oh right, I'm supposed to be working on that.” (Not my preferred vibration to work with.)
So I added a “d” to make it past tense as if it already happened: “tripled ebook revenue.” That was a little tweak but a big vibrational improvement in that it took pressure off making it happen.
But it did look rather lonely and out of place up there on the white board all by itself. Kind of precarious and random – like it didn't know what it was doing there.
So I gave it some company by jotting down other cool things next to it – which were goals & desires I'd already achieved.
- “Won affiliate contest.” (I wrote about that one here.)
- “Rescued all horses.” (That little group miracle went down on facebook last month with Equine Fund Raising folks.)
And then underneath it re-wrote “Tripled ebook revenue.”
Now the energy in that list was juicy! These two huge wins that had recently happened in my life started to infect this new dream with the vibration of “done deal success.” It started to feel like something I'd already experienced – instead of something I wanted to create.
Then get this - without doing anything else, a couple days later I got an email from Smashwords reporting a lot more money than I usually see in ebook sales. It wasn't triple, and who knows whether it'll happen again, but I'm taking it as a sign that I'm on the right vibrational track.
Pretty cool, right?! I thought so, too.
Which is why I'm sharing this little list-making tip in case you're not already using it yourself to create manifesting magic in your world.
Practicing it is just as easy as I described above …
Just tuck in a new dream, written in past tense form like it's already done, in a list of fun things already manifested. That energy is a cool kind of contagious for your new desire, and it helps you get used to the idea of this new desire as a done deal. Have fun with it!
