Knocking "How" Out of the Park

What would you really choose - if you knew it could be fun and easy?

Deliberate creators know it's not our job to figure out how to get what we want, or to make dreams come true ourselves. That's what Universal magic energy is for – it does the heavy lifting for us.

All we gotta do is use our focusing skills to allow for easy and swift manifestation of whatever we desire. And only take action because (and when) it's enjoyable.

I know this – that it's not our job to figure out “how” and thought I was practicing it pretty well - until I heard Jeanna Gabellini share details about a new desire she was choosing to manifest.

In hearing her example (which was to achieve a business goal without taking traditional actions to get there) I realized I'd been dismissing some desires because of the “work” I unconsciously assumed was involved.

I could have that result without working for it? Shoot – sign me up!

• Grow my audience? Sure, I'd love to, but not if I have to do a bunch of annoying marketing or promotions to get there.
• Make a bunch of money? Who wouldn't – unless it means spending more time in the office or doing things that compromise my integrity.
• Meet a fabulous guy and have a romance of a lifetime? Sounds good, but not if I have to do a bunch of dating or work through relationship issues.

Over the years law of attraction has proven to me I can have whatever I want – but what I didn't realize was that I was unconsciously crossing some desires off the list because of the work I thought would be required.

Those assumptions are worth questioning - and dumping!

(I feel sort of silly writing this up, because hello – we all know this already – but I didn't live it as well as I could have been. And if I'm doing it, someone else probably is, too.)

It was a game changer for me to get it at a deeper level that getting to our goals can be nothing but fun and enjoyable.

If you're not already choosing what you really really want because of some background story or unconscious assumptions about the hard work required to get there, you're invited to rethink it. Getting what we want can be way easier than most of us – even well trained deliberate creators – sometimes believe.

How to know what you really really want? Consider this question:

If getting there could be fun, if the process could be easy, if it could be enjoyable – and if it could be anything – if you didn't have any stories about how hard or unlikely it is – or any past experiences with it that didn't work out - what would you pick? If it could be ANYTHING and the unfolding could be fun?

Turn that one around for a while, and see if you land on new desires.

And maybe play this inspiring song while you're playing with the question.

Because life is too full of promise to waste it being reasonable or practical or coloring within the lines.

We didn't come here to play small. We were made to break the old “rules” and delight ourselves in big beautiful ways. Let's have fun with it!
