Looking in the Right Places?
I've done enough LOA coaching over the years to have noticed three things that consistently lead to practically instant manifestations.
Some of these strategies are easier to implement than others, but I know from experience that all of them work wonders fast.
Here are 3 things you can do right now to manifest what you want:
1. Find something to smile about, laugh over, or otherwise lighten up.
Martha Beck attributed people's "Four Day Win" experiences (where they launched successful weight loss campaigns after doing something enjoyable for 4 days straight) to a change in brain chemistry, but I think of it in terms of a change in vibration. They fell in love, went on vacation, or did something else that upped their joy factor - and that's what kick started successful weight loss after nothing else had worked.
Doesn't matter what we want - once we find a way to get happy now (or at least feel better now), we automatically become a stronger match to letting it in effortlessly and swiftly. Martha says four days is a magic number; I've seen amazing things happen for people after just four minutes of switching up the vibe. It really works.
But remember - feeling better in order to make something happen is not the same vibe as just plain feeling better. Try it without the agenda for best results. :) Here's a couple links to prime the pump:dogs under water slide show and animated Happy Feet.
2. Give it up (as in "let it go" aka "Step Away from the Goal!")
When something's a big deal and we're strongly wanting it, it's easy to have a kinky vibe. Which is why when people finally give up on what they want - that's when the love interest calls or the job offer comes in or the home buyers show up.
But you don't have to let it get so bad that you walk away in frustration in order to recreate the same beneficial effect as giving up. You can release the resistance by simply deciding to be okay without it - for now.
3. Find a reason to believe Those who are savvy about how the system works can see the misguidedness of someone who looks to her boyfriend to make her happy, or the impossibility of thinking a job can deliver security, or that a healthy loved one is required in order to feel peace.
That's like thinking sunny days are responsible for our good moods. It's simply not true, and a ridiculous condition to put on what we're vibrating.
But for many of us it's theoretical knowledge, not something we consistently apply. (Myself included.)
It might be EASIER to feel good on a gorgeous day, but the truth is how we feel isn't conditional on what's happening out there. How we feel is an inside job. All day long, it's within our power to choose how we feel - by being deliberate about the thoughts we entertain.
When we look to someone or something else in order to feel better, we're abdicating our creative power.
And that very habit (looking for love or happiness in the wrong places) is what keeps us from manifesting the very things we've been wanting.
Seems like a catch 22, doesn't it?
Abraham said it really well recently. It went something like:
“We want you to not need your manifestations so you can get your manifestations.”
Which just means that when we stop thinking that more money or a nicer husband or a trimmer body or a more successful business or whatever - when we stop thinking THAT will make life better and instead simply recognize how fabulous life is already - that's when the money gets fatter and hubbies nicer and bodies more rockin' and businesses more thriving.
I would be out of business as an LOA coach if deliberate creators truly embraced this.
I know we know this already, but we can do better at practicing it.
And practicing it is simple:
Get happy now.
Or at least, feel a little bit better now.
We do that by shifting our focus off what isn't here yet or what it is we don't like - and instead seeing what IS here already that's really right and good and fabulous and lovable. Like the comfy sweater you're wearing, or the delicious lunch you just finished, or the friend meetup you're having tonight, or the excellent book you're taking to bed.
Because the truth is nothing needs to change before we recognize how good we've got it.
And if you don't believe me on that, I know what will convince you. Having something evaporate that was near and dear to you - that's often how we recognize how good we used to have it.
But we don't have to lose our electricity, or our kitty cat, or our paycheck to realize how good life is right now. We are deliberate creators, who know how to focus on what serves us. And that's all it takes to feel better now.
Notice what's going right; revel in what there is to appreciate.
In that space, you become magnetic to more good stuff. :)
