To Plan B or Not to Plan B
As with many things, there isn't one straightforward answer. Except the one we all know: whatever feels better is what works best!
For some, it feels better to have a plan B, just in case. That's what lets them sleep easier at night, knowing all is not lost if things don't come together as desired. For others it feels better to trust that their first choice will come to full fruition, so there's no need to entertain alternatives. To them, doing so demonstrates lack of faith. It does not improve their vibration to consider alternatives.
That's why it's worth feeling out for yourself, knowing there's no right or wrong answer ... just: what feels better to you.
I've found myself in both camps at times. In fact, on the day I registered Good Vibe Coaching as a business with the state, I also registered Dog's Best Friend. (Professional dog walking was the backup plan I never needed since coaching took off quickly!)
So the answer to the question about whether it's a show of alignment or misalignment to have a backup plan is that it depends: How does it feel to you? Don't let anyone tell you there's a right or wrong way to this.
Not entirely related, but kinda sorta is the latest post and podcast where I asked about your process for turning around a bad day.
SOS: 3 Step Protocol for Transforming Bad Days
3 Steps to Transform a Bad Day
I shared my personal three step protocol for transforming things when headed south. It isn't something I created in advance of expecting bad days, but rather from the experience of many of them! It comes in handy now whenever they pop up. ??
For me it feels better to know in advance what to do when things go sideways rather than expecting myself to figure it out when I'm already vibrationally compromised. Because it's hard to do our best work when we're not up to vibrational speed.
Some might say that planning what to do when tricky times hit just manifests those occasions more often, but it seems like the opposite to me. Knowing how to handle rough waters helps me be less resistant to them, and that reduced charge makes them less frequent and less durable.
And others might find their best approach is to expect that bad days are not in store. ??
If you have a self-soothing or realignment routine for when you find yourself in the midst of a bad day, we'd love to hear it in the comments at the latest post and podcast!
