Still Waiting For It?

Still Waiting For It?

Are you waiting for your dream to come true, when you imagine you'll feel the thrill and delight of getting what you want with your successful manifestation?

If you are … stop that!

At least, stop reserving that thrill and delight and satisfaction for future events that haven't happened yet.

This is a subtle thing, but it can kink your alignment, so please consider:

When you imagine that you'll be happy when … you lose the weight, find true love, get the dream job/house/haircut - that pattern of pushing your happiness out for when things change makes for kinky vibes today.

I mean, it's better than NOT looking forward to a bright future, but we're deliberate creators – we can do better than that.

We can recognize we're already living out a dream come true right here right now in this present tense. When you combine that “happy now” energy with a picture of what you're looking forward to next – that's a golden combo.

You could call that vibe: “Life is good and getting better.” Can you sense how much fun Universe can have with that signal?

Because when Universe hears you holding out on good vibes for when something changes, it can't cue the good stuff. (Any many of us don't realize that when we visualize our happy ending we do it from a place of resistance to what is. That energy combo of “this current situation isn't so great but it'll be better when …” – that instruction is kinda lame.)

Universe is waiting for your signal that says “Man, I've got it good!” and then in rolls the money, the vitality, the resources, the lovers, the opportunities, the ideas, the rainbows and unicorns and hot dudes with kittens.

Not because we paid our manifesting dues by imagining it every day for months in a row, but because we got happy now.

That's not too much to ask, huh?

Because waiting for our dream to come true is exactly what's holding it up.

So how do I know we're living a dream come true right here right now? I covered that topic here at the blog and invite you to share your thoughts there.

I'll leave you with this quote that was posted in the GVU forums yesterday:

“How many joys are crushed under foot because people look up at the sky and disregard what is at their feet?”—Catharina Goethe
