Teaching It or Living It?
Earlier this week I gave a presentation about unkinking the money vibe, where a woman asked how to handle a negative spouse:
“I understand this and can practice it, but what about my husband who insists on being pessimistic about our finances?”
My suggestion was that we let the other people in our lives tell their own story, that we don't need everyone to agree with us in order to create what we want, and that someone else's vibration can be independent of ours (even when it's our spouse) - when we stay firmly grounded in the energy of what we want.
And we certainly don't have to get everyone in our immediate environment on board with law of attraction in order to leverage it ourselves.
But I liked even better the response event organizer Tiffany Peterson shared. She quoted Jack Canfield quoting someone else (couldn't find the original source - if you know it please email me) that went like:
“When I teach my parents about the Buddha they hate me. When I act like the Buddha, they love me.”
Well said, Tiffany.
Here's to teaching LOA less and walking the talk of deliberate creation more.
(And at least we've got good company in each other!)
