What Your Mother and Your Worst Enemy Have in Common (Don't Do This)
You know what black magic is?
It's a projection of negative energy onto another.
Gossiping is the same sort of curse – it's sending dark energy another person's way.
Guess what else falls in the same category?
Worrying about someone.
It's the same type of energy, albeit driven by different motives.
You might think that the intention behind the energy makes all the difference. But if that were the case, hard work would always work (because it's driven by good intentions, after all). And we know that's not how the system plays out.
In our system, we get what we feel (i.e. vibrate). And worrying about another person doesn't feel good. Which means it doesn't lead to good things.
So worrying about someone is the equivalent of wishing harm on them. Just like if you were sticking pins in a voo doo doll.
The best gift we could give another is to never worry about them again.
That may be easier said than done, but if we really love someone - and we understand the power of our focus - we would do our best to hold visions of their highest success and happiness.
I know a lot of people think that worrying is a natural and loving reaction when someone we care about is in trouble.
But that's practically the worst thing we could do to anyone – to see them struggling or failing.
We're conscious creators and we know better.
We know that energy trumps action. We know the difference between vibrations that feel good and vibrations that feel bad.
So the next time you're thinking thoughts about someone you love, make sure they're high quality. (Save your worries for people you don't like. That might also be a good time to remember that we get what we put out.)
When you notice you're entertaining images of someone's struggle, remember that you don't practice black magic. You traffic in love and light – leaving the dark arts to the misguided muggles and professional cursers of the world.
The ultimate expression of love is to see others in their highest light. (Or as Abe says, see them in their “vortex version.”) Not to sacrifice for them, not to commiserate with them, not to be concerned about their well-being, but to see them winning.
It's definitely not how most folks roll, but you can do it – you're the best there is.
